EFS provides funding on matching grants basis to commercialize innovative products/technologies developed at UAF in collaboration with the private industry and entrepreneurs. A Business Incubation Centre (BIC) has also been setup which provides startup business facilities to selected incubates/companies where help and assistance is also provided to protect the Intellectual Property Rights of the researchers/scientists through patents and copy rights before commercialization of products. The interested investors/entrepreneurs may collaborate with EFS to invest and develop/start companies for commercialization of innovative university products. Scientists/Researchers may also apply for funding on the prescribed format to EFS. EFS has also completed some mega projects under this components including a state of the art Exhibition Centre constructed at the campus worth Rs.16.04 million and a Farm Market worth Rs. 5.911 million. So for 04 projects has been completed and 01 project is ongoing.
